Flash Review: Philips HomeDock HD
Designed for the iPod (4 and 5G iPod, Nano and Touch), Philips HomeDock HD
it allows to view content on a portable TV. For this, it has an extensive connection with the S-Video, composite RCA, HDMI, and especially to take advantage of its HD screen. The Dock is in charge then of upscaling the video resolution up to 1080i (60 Hz). In practice, it is better to receive a source of good quality. Where necessary the format makes the scenes too vague and lacking detail. Where quality requirements are met, it is very acceptable but only in a DVD and light years ahead of Blu-ray. His side, the optical output is very convincing an amplifier with A / V, including listening to music. Unfortunately there is no provision to view the photos, which is frankly damage at this price. However, navigation is done using a remote control handy to stay comfortably in the sofa.
Features: HDMI video output, S-Video, composite, USB, optical digital audio outputs and analog remote
Price: 300 euros
