Canon Ixus 110 IS (SD960 IS in USA)
This is a compact camera that offers a lot of novelties. Among them, the LCD screen of 2.8 inches (7.1 cm) diagonal for a definition of 230.000 pixels in 16:9 widescreen format.
Its design extends around this screen in length, stretching slightly and decreasing in height (9.79 x 5.41 x 2.21cm). And it is very classic in terms of buttons. Three buttons complement the wheel at the rear: the shortcut for viewing, menu access, and the validation button. The top of the camera theres the focus, power, zoom control and a mode selector (video-photo-auto).
Canon succeeded again in offering a device that fits comfortably in hand. With a sensor with 12.1 megapixels, the IXUS 110 IS offers a wide angle of 28mm and at the other end of the focal range, the 4x optical zoom reaches 112 mm.
Another new feature it is the HD video mode. With a definition of 1280 x 720 pixels at 30 frames per second, it converts this camera in a small camcorder. With good light conditions the quality of the sequences is quite correct, but it decreases rapidly along with the light. Still this is a compact, powerful and amazingly simple camera that provides excellent images.
