Asus EeePC 1005HA-H SeaShell

The basic configuration of this netbook is a fairly standard Atom N280 processor, 160GB SATA II storage and a screen of 10''in good order. Note that it proves a little too bright in some lights.

It comes, unlike his little brother (1005HA-M, 50 € cheaper), with a Bluetooth module and it stands out especially by a battery of self-announced 10 hours.

To use (streaming audio Wi-Fi, video conferencing, Internet and desktop), this autonomy is approaching 9 hours of active use well optimized software: impressive! Including snacks, a movie and a nap, you will make a Paris-Hawaii once without asking your hostess a socket.

Elegant: building shells, lines and curves are smooth. The surface painted with a blue rhinestone very discreet black copy, resists rather well to fingerprints. This is not eye-catching but the whole is quite delicately different to get noticed.

The touchpad is integrated on the surface and is distinguished by small grains (like sand?) that massage the fingertip according to the mouse movements. An effort could be made on the keyboard, but it is comfortable to hit with square buttons of a good size. The "Enter" is a bit small, a detail ...

In use, Asus continues to raise its bet. Nothing extraordinary, but little more that continue to enliven the experience. In addition to the webcam (1.3MPixels), card reader SD / MMC, audio in / out, WiFi, Bluetooth, RJ45 sockets and VGA, so there is the touchpad which in addition to massage the fingertip is multitouch. You zoom a photo or a web page with a flick of two fingers fun.

In a small button you can select the screen resolutions that suits you best: practical! It also has 3 USB ports (one on the right, two left): even more convenient! There's no optical drive.
