A speaker-alarm clock that can accommodate not only one but two Apple players simultaneously: iPod classic, iPod Touch or iPhone are allowed. Connect your iPod or iPhone to a computer to create a new playlist and name it iHome (it is not possible to configure it directly on the dock). Then connect the player/s and set one, two or three alarms.

Its acoustic resonance chamber gives a real plus in comfort. In terms of ergonomics, the keys on the iHome iP88 seem disappointing. The two circulars hover buttons have a very "fake" touch, since you need to put the full weight of the hand.

An infrared remote control handles the functions from distance: equalizer, radio, Mute, Snooze, Sleep. This gadget also incorporates a jack for reproducing music from another audio sources. Its price (150 euros) doesn't seem excessively high.
